This diary written by Frank C. Hershberger is of his time in China from 1914 to 1918. It appears to have been written some time after 1914, as there are several mentions of World War II. The first entry is dated December 1914, and the location is labeled as "North Manchuria." Hershberger recounts travel across China and Russia and writes about political situations he experiences in the region. The final entries appear to be dated in March 1918.
